How can I ensure donations intended for my conference are sent to us?
Donors can direct funds to your conference in a number of ways depending on the donation method. As long as your conference's name is included in some way, our office will direct the funds as indicated. **Note** Donations made from your conference's online form are automatically assigned to be sent to your conference without any further action needing to be taken. For employer matching donations, if the original donation being matched by the company was directed to your conference, we will also automatically direct the resulting matched donation to your conference. If you or your donors have any questions or concerns, you are always welcome to reach out to our office at development@svdphouston.org.
How can my conference get its own online donation form?
Just reach out to us at development@svdphouston.org! We will be happy to set that up for you.
How long does it take for money to be transferred from council to my conference?
This depends on a number of factors, but usually it can take as long as a week for donations to be moved from council to your conference account. The speed of the bank's operations, holidays, and other factors can all extend that timeframe on occasion.
