How can I ensure donations intended for my conference are sent to us?
In order for a donation to be sent to your conference, the donor must indicate that they would like it directed there. This can be done in many ways depending on the donation method, but as long as your conference's name is included in a memo, attached letter, or via some other method, our team will ensure it is properly assigned and sent to your conference.. **Note** Donations made from your conference's online form are automatically assigned to be sent to your conference without any further action needing to be taken. For employer matching donations, if the original donation being matched by the company is directed to your conference, we will also automatically direct the resulting matched donation to your conference. If you or your donors have any comments or concerns, you are always welcome to reach out to our office at development@svdphouston.org.
How can my conference get its own online donation form?
Just reach out to us via development@svdphouston.org! We will be happy to set that up for you.
How long does it take for money to be transferred from council to my conference?
This depends on a number of factors, but usually it can take as long as a week for donations to be moved from council to your conference account. The speed of the bank's operations, holidays, and other factors can all extend that timeframe on occasion.
