Vincentian Services Center becomes a HUB for Harvey Relief

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10”

Wednesday September 13th was a busy day for staff and Duchesne volunteers at our warehouse! Due to the immense need after Hurricane Harvey, we have been providing necessary items such as fresh food, cleaning supplies, diapers and much more to anyone in the community seeking assistance.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s warehouse is strategically located in the center of Houston allowing us quick access to most of the city.  We are thankful to announce the recent flooding has not affected our ability go to our neighbors in this great time of need.

Thanks to the size of our warehouse (50,000 sq.ft.) we are able to collect and distribute large quantities of food – we are a Hub Distribution Point for the Houston Food Bank – clothing, and other supplies to the Houston community.
