Your Belongings Can Be a Treasure for Others
Your gently used clothing, furniture, appliances and household items become an integral part of the story for change. Things that you may think to throw away could have a huge impact on people within your very own community. Before you throw items away, consider donating them to Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
All items sold in our Resale Shops fund our programs to help others have a better quality of life and give them hope. Some of your things may go directly to those in need by way of our Voucher Ministry. Either way, rest assured the Society can find a better home for your gently used goods or unwanted items than the landfill.

Unfortunately, there are things we just can’t take, not because we don’t want to help you, but because we can’t sell them or give them away to others. Please refer to the Donation Guidelines or call us at 713-862-2605 so we may discuss your options with you.
Next time you clean your garage, your closets or re-furbish your home, call St. Vincent de Paul and give your hard earned things a second life.
Spread the Word About Our Programs
Evangelism is another important way that you can support our cause. Tell your friends and neighbors what you are doing to support the Society and you may inspire them to take action to support our community as well. Remember, we will happily make multiple stops in one neighborhood!
The Food Network collaborates with the Houston Food Bank and other food vendors and organizes community food drives and food fairs on a regular basis in order to maintain inventory and to assist a greater number of people in need with a wider range of food choices.
Our pantries are always in need of canned meats, vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, canned fruit and more. Organize a food drive in your neighborhood or workplace. Call us at 713-741-8234 and we can help you with donation bins, flyers and more!
