The following is a list of items most needed by The Society of St. Vincent de Paul to assist us in serving those individuals and families devastated by Hurricane IKE.
Please be kind in your donations by sending new, non expired foods in original packaging
FOOD ITEMS MOST NEEDED
Please choose plastic containers or canned items rather than glass. Also please remember our brothers and sisters are in without electricity be generous by supplying items with “pop top” lids and ready made foods.

Re-Entry to your community: The places and things we took for granted or were used to having are no longer the same. There are many things to consider:
• Shortages of utilities, gasoline, and food.
• Utilities are still not available in most areas or may not be stable with frequent power outages.
• Public transportation is limited.
• Health care may be limited.
• Police, fire and emergency medical services may be limited.
• There are not as many Day Care Centers available.
• Businesses are not fully functional.
